Hurricane Harvey Jewish Camp Relief Efforts
Times of great challenge show us what we are truly made of, and Jewish camp is showing up for the victims of Hurricane Harvey in a big way.
As Hurricane Harvey hits Texas hard, two Jewish camps have opened their gates to evacuees: URJ Greene Family Camp and Camp Young Judaea Texas. Offering beds, 3 meals a day, electricity, internet and activities for people of all ages that have been displaced from their homes, these camps truly embody the Jewish values we teach our campers each summer.
Love your neighbor as yourself
We at FJC could not be more proud of the strength of character, generosity and initiative shown by our camps. We encourage our larger camp community to come together to support these efforts.
Please share this information with evacuees in Texas.
