Camp Ramah in the Berkshires is a vibrant summer camp community, where children grow in a safe, beautiful setting, surrounded by lifelong friends and guided by spirited role models. About the Role
Rosh Omanut/Arts & Crafts Director oversees all creative programming at camp, including ceramics, woodworking, painting, mixed media, and other visual arts activities. This leadership role involves planning, coordinating, and supervising arts staff, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and inspiring environment for campers to explore their creativity. The Director works closely with program staff to integrate arts into the broader camp experience.
Summer Dates: June 17 – August 14, 2026
Responsibilities:
•Lead, develop, and oversee the camp’s arts and crafts curriculum
•Supervise and mentor Arts & Crafts Educators
•Plan and organize daily and special arts activities for all camper age groups
•Collaborate with program staff to integrate arts into camp-wide programs
•Bring new ideas and innovations to expand the arts curriculum
•Foster a positive, creative, and inclusive environment
Compensation & Perks:
• $3,000-$6500 based on experience and role
• Room and board provided while in residence at Camp
