Description
Adventure Mountain Director oversees the health and safety of all campers and staff participating in our high and low ropes initiatives. The AMD will supervise a team of 8-12 ropes course staff members ensuring on-going training and fine-tuning. This position also oversees and is ultimately responsible for the daily schedule and assignments for ropes staff, on-going mentorship of ropes staff, up-keep of all equipment, daily safety checks, set-up and break-down of all elements daily, maintaining inventory and reporting any issue in a timely fashion. The AMD serves on the Camp Geza team along with other supervisory staff and acts as a role-model in all areas of camp.
Compensation
Starts at $5000Requirements
Prior climbing and belaying experience required, in particular on outdoor ropes courses, and previous ACCT certification strongly preferred but not required. Applicant must be 21+ in order to operate camp vehicles, as needed. Adventure Mountain Director will participate/assist in facilitating pre-camp training with ropes course staff, regardless of ACCT certification status.Arrival at Camp: June 5
Departure from Camp: August 14
Salary is commensurate with experience with a range of $5000-6500.
