FJC is seeking an Associate Manager, Operations & Data, to join our team. This individual will play an integral role in maintaining our CRM and other information systems that support our work and help us to track progress on current initiatives. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail; approach challenges with a solution orientation; and think critically about how to store and report on information. This role requires foundational experience in database administration, ideally with Salesforce, and a genuine interest in growing skills in this area. The Associate Manager, Operations & Data, sits at the nexus of our field growth, operations, and technology teams, working closely across departments and reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Operations & Data.


General Database Management

Uphold data quality through the design and implementation of a data cleaning plan
Build and manage custom reports and dashboards, with an eye toward easy and relevant data accessibility for staff
Preserve institutional knowledge through creating and maintaining user documentation of Salesforce functionality, related workflows, and business processes
Prioritize and resolve staff support requests as they come in, including but not limited to data uploads, report/dashboard creation, form creation, automation, user experience design, bug fixes, forgotten passwords, and process improvement
Design and train staff on Salesforce – both onboarding and continuing education – to enhance skills, increase user adoption, and support successful change management across the organization
Oversee third-party integrations, including but not limited to FormAssembly, Alchemer, and Asana
Stay engaged with the nonprofit Salesforce community to develop and grow generative connections and learnings for the organization
Financial Resource Development (FRD) Support

Collaborate with FRD to coordinate solicitations, mailings, and other donor communications
Support FRD’s donor cultivation efforts through maintaining clean and current donor data
Research, stay current on, and advocate for nonprofit best practices and integration of donor information in Salesforce
Other Program and Systems Management

Manage other technologies as need arises, primarily focused on our first-time camper grant portal and survey tools
Create analysis plans, conduct data cleaning and verification, manage the process of data cleaning, conduct QAQC, analyze data, and synthesize multiple kinds of data to produce summaries and key findings across FJC’s data systems
Additional responsibilities, as determined by the Senior Manager, Data and Operations


Minimum 3 years of experience working with Salesforce or other comparable CRM software required
Familiarity with Salesforce generally, whether as a user or as an administrator, required
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly with Excel, required
Salesforce Admin certification preferred; opportunity to explore certification as benefit of employment
