Be the “central address” for Jewish living and learning at one of our multi-denominational Jewish overnight camps. Your sunny days will be filled with creating and facilitating engaging programs for 8-16 year-old campers and staff (including leading lively Shabbat services).
Participating Jewish overnight camps include: Camp Barney Mednitz (Georgia), Capital Camps (Pennsylvania), CBB Ottawa (Canada), Camp Chi (Wisconsin), Emma Kaufman Camp (West Virginia), Camp Tawonga and Camp Mountain Chai (California), JCC Camp Kingswood (Maine).
Benefits include all expenses paid leadership training seminar in NYC, access to rich curriculum bank, vibrant peer-to-peer network, commensurate salary range: $3,500-$8,500.
RequirementsIdeal candidate is 21+ and “gets” camp; a dynamic educator who understands the value and power of overnight Jewish camp, comfortable in pluralistic settings, possesses Jewish content knowledge (graduate level preferred), has a proven leadership background, skilled at experiential Jewish education, is available for the entire summer season up to 10 weeks.
