The Director of New Country Pride Camp oversees the programmatic success of New Country Pride Camp within the larger New Country Day Camp umbrella. The Director of New Country Pride Camp (NCPC) is responsible for creating the programmatic schedule and content, hiring and training program staff and vendors/volunteers, collaborating with Youth Programs’ Community Engagement Manager and 14Y marketing team and the Director of 14Y Youth Programs to recruit and retain campers/families, developing and instituting best practices for working with queer/LGBTQ+ youth and staff, and ensuring programmatic success by being an active leader on the grounds throughout NCPC.
Compensation
$28/hourRequirements
• Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (Education, etc.), Master’s Degree preferred • Demonstrated successful experience working with LGBTQIA+ youth and families • At least 3+ years of supervisory experience • Excellent oral/written communication skills • Ability to interact with families and colleagues of diverse cultural and social backgrounds • Skilled and passionate about customer service and relationship building • Experience in and demonstrated success working in the Jewish camping field preferred • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite • Demonstrated commitment to uphold programmatic priorities and achieve key business objectives • COVID Vaccine MandatedHow to Apply
