Description
Camp Daisy & Harry Stein is a Reform Jewish residential summer camp located in the Prescott National Forest just two hours north of Phoenix, Arizona. Our campers (grades 2 – 12) are mostly from Arizona and the surrounding Southwestern United States and come from diverse backgrounds.
RESPONSIBLE TO:
1. Activities Director
2. Assistant Director
3. Camp Director
4. Director of Jewish Life
5. Unit Head
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Planning and implementing a Music program for all age groups during cabin hours, and elective periods.
2. Orient and educate staff and campers about the Music equipment, area, procedures, and rules.
3. Communicate with Health Center regarding campers with special physical needs or problems with regards to your area and observance of those needs.
4. Preparation and maintenance of the Music room: Physically and programmatically. Make sure it is kept clean and all supplies are accounted for.
5. Maintain record of campers progress.
6. Requisitioning of needed supplies and equipment, as well as maintenance and inventory of all equipment and supplies.
7. Planning and implementing daily song sessions for the entire camp
8. Assist in leading daily T’fillah services and Shabbat services each week, and meeting with Director of Jewish Life periodically to plan.
9. When done with music responsibilities, should be with assigned cabin.
10. Evaluate in writing, the Media program, Camp Program, Staff, and Procedures
11. Abide by and enforce all camp policies
12. Sit Shmira (OD), supervise cabins at night as assigned.

Camp Stein is owned and operated by Congregation Beth Israel, a Reform Synagogue in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Requirements
1. Entering College Freshman or 18 years of age
2. Experience significant for position (Song leading)
3. Strong Judaic Knowledge and program experience
