The Outdoor Education Director is an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic individual with hiking/camping/outdoor education/ropes course experience. Our Outdoor Education director will manage all aspects of camp’s Teva(nature) and Adventure Departments. Primary responsibilities include:

Developing nature experiences that will foster participants’ outdoor living skills and environmental sensitivity

Creating and implementing nature program for cabin overnights, including cooking, sleeping, and all programmatic content

Supervising Ropes Course/ Climbing Wall/Alpine Tower activities with assistant Adventure Director

Teaching and monitoring proper use of equipment and conducting daily checks of program area and equipment for safety, cleanliness and good repair

Setting and cleaning up of all equipment and supplies

Supervising a staff team of college-age students.

Fulfilling responsibilities of camp leadership team members


High enthusiasm and prior experience with leading and developing outdoor education programs.
Ropes Course/Facilitation experience
