Scheduling DirectorAt Camp Zeke

Posted Dec 16, 2021 Job Length Year Round

Description

Take your camp career to the next level at a vibrant, growing, independent Jewish overnight camp located on 560 serene acres in Northeastern, PA. Camp Zeke celebrates healthy, active living through gourmet foods, sports, fitness and culinary arts. Our camp serves 500+ children ages 7 – 17 during the summer, and numerous retreat groups in the spring and fall.

The Scheduling Director will work with the Program Director to design, plan, and run the summer schedule, special event days, staff appreciation programs, orientation, and all other scheduling and programmatic elements of camp. The Scheduling Director will also manage and coordinate a team of program heads to ensure they design lesson plans for their programs, compile lists of supplies, stay on track in their year-round planning, and implement strong summer programs.

Please note that we are looking for a person who has deep experience designing and implementing schedules at another camp. We are most interested in speaking with applicants who have spent multiple summers creating schedules in Excel for hundreds of people. We care much less about whether you are the person on the microphone in front of the room (although we’re happy for you to be one of those people in addition to creating the schedules).

During the non-summer months, the Scheduling Director will assist with various retreat programs at camp, give tours to campers and retreat groups, assist with marketing and recruiting, write newsletters, assist with digital marketing campaigns, and become engaged with many other projects as needed.

This job is remote during the winter and onsite at our camp in Lakewood, PA during the late spring through early fall. The ability to travel to the camp during the winter as needed for tours is required. Comfortable accommodations, including kosher meals are provided for the months you will live at the camp.
