The Baltimore JCC is seeking a seasoned and passionate Camp professional to join the Senior Management team and lead the J Camps platform year-round. The Senior Director of J Camps is responsible for retaining and growing enrollment that engages children (age 4-15). This is an exciting opportunity to advance and implement an innovative camp platform that provides fulfilling experiences that enable camper success. The position will develop and support a camp culture that is inclusive, welcoming and safe, while being an actively contributing member of JCC leadership in support of the J’s mission and goals.




1. Demonstrated knowledge and experience being a project manager- creating, directing, and managing programs and events. 2. At least 3-5 years’ experience as a day or resident camp director preferred. 3. Minimum 4-year college degree. 4. Understanding of child development. 5. Basic understanding of Jewish culture, values, and traditions. 6. Strong interpersonal, organizational, personal communication skills, and computer skills. 7. Innovative and creative in developing new programming. 8. Demonstrated customer service and public relations skills. 9. Enthusiastic and savvy team player who can collaborate with a range of stakeholders. 10. Experience tracking and reading financial data. 11. Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed, required, or assigned
