YOUTH LEADER INTERNSHIP PROGRAMAt Camp Grossman
Description
BUILDING YOUR PROFESSIONAL SKILLS IN A FUN OUTDOOR SETTING
As young adults, you are juggling both wanting to have a fun summer with building your springboard for what you want to do with your life long term. Too often people have to choose between jobs which they think will get them somewhere and what would actually be fun to do. This summer you won’t have to choose because JCC Greater Boston is piloting a dynamic internship program at Camp Grossman.
Participants in the program will participate in an innovative program which will provide 6 sessions designed to strengthen your launch as a professional (whatever your field of interest). Sessions will include highly relevant topics such as how to see and sell your skills, resume development, identifying jobs that match your strengths and interests, and creating an impactful Linked-In profile. Graduates will earn a certificate of completion.
In parallel, interns will work as part of the Camp Grossman team, earning up to $4745 for the summer. Opportunities vary depending on the interests and skills of the candidates. They range from: working with a group of children throughout their camp day to being a specialist in an area such as cooking, fishing, drama or science, to supporting the camp office team to doing maintenance projects.
Camp Grossman is actively seeking internship candidates who want to co-create an amazing summer experience for children while developing their professional expertise. Whatever calls to you…building a strong resume and work skills… making a difference in the lives of children …making new friends (or bringing your current friends to enjoy a camp summer together) ….spending more time outdoors… earning money….and/or having a fun and memorable outdoorsy summer, please consider the Camp Grossman Summer Internship Program! We aim to support your goals as you support ours.
