When/how/where at camp did you meet?
We met during the summer of 2011 as staff members. We were counselors for campers of the same age group; so naturally, we were in the same place at the same time a lot. Shout out to our BFF Carrie for being our matchmaker, and helping us take our friendship to the next level!
Was it love right away?
DEF. The romantic Shabbat-o-grams really sealed the deal.
Do you find that your time at camp has influenced your relationship?
Yes! We love going to alumni events, hanging with camp friends, and visiting camp over the summer. When we’re not doing any of those things, you can probably find us talking about camp.
What happened when camp ended that summer?
We both agreed that it was more than a summer fling, so we decided to try the whole long distance relationship thing. Six and a half years later, we can happily say that it worked out.
Did you have any camp themed thing at your wedding?
To be decided…we’re still in the process of planning that evening program!!
Will you send your kids to camp?
Yes!!!!!!!!! We will definitely be living vicariously through them when they go to camp
