Getting Kids Dirty Since 1930!
Camp Davis has been a summer tradition in Nashville for over 90 years. Each generation that comes through the camp has been exposed to our Jewish values. These include…
- Holy Community (Kehila Kedosha)
- Fun (Kef)
- Love (Ahava)
- Nature (Teva)
- Growth (Tz’micha)
- Righteousness (Tzadik)
These Jewish values guide everything we do at camp. From learning a new activity to teaching others their favorite game, Camp Davis is full of impactful experiences that will shape camper’s bright futures.
*We welcome transgender, intersex, non-binary and gender-non conforming campers

Meet The Director
Marisa Byard
Marisa Byard has been working at Camp Davis since December 2014. Last summer, 2020, was her first year as the Camp Director. As a lifelong camper, Marisa grew up going to JCC day camps and then Camp Barney Medintz. She believes that camp is the best place for kids to be kids!
