The Grayness of Grief: Preparing Staff to Support Community Members Impacted by Significant Loss

When someone experiences a significant loss, the return to a summer at camp can be a difficult transition and sometimes a welcomed relief. Staff can feel unsure how to best handle the situation and to support the camper or staff member. This training aims to help staff think about what that experience might be like for members of the camp community and provide them with tools and frameworks to help them prepare to support those individuals at camp, meet those individuals where they are in their grief experience.
