Responsive Classroom Goes to Camp

Description

Responsive Classroom ® is an evidence-based approach to teaching that focuses on engaging academics, positive community, effective management, and developmental awareness. Overnight and Day Camps are already leaders in Social Emotional Learning and incorporate some of these practices without intentionally realizing their enormous impact! Plus, they are easily informed and framed by Jewish values.

This 11-minute video was created for Professor Jeffrey Kress at the Jewish Theological Seminary Davidson School of Education for a course on Social Emotional Learning & Jewish Education (Fall 2018).
