TYPES OF FACILITATION OPPORTUNITIES:

SUGGESTIONS FOR STRONG SUBMISSIONS:

Attendees are looking for more out of their conference experience—hands-on learning, interaction with the presenter, case studies, real-world examples, and opportunities to dive deeper into topics with one another. We strongly encourage you to consider new ways to incorporate these types of interactions while you are developing your session.

  • Relevant: Clear content tailored for the Leaders Assembly audience and the field of Jewish camp
  • Actionable: Tangible takeaways for attendees
  • Engaging: Interactive, and thought-provoking delivery
  • Inclusive: Intentional language that speaks with clarity to your target audience (For example, if you plan to address all camp professionals be sure to use language that applies to overnight and day camp.)
  • Collaborative: Consider working together across the field, connecting with and drawing on perspectives from other types of camps, movements, regions, federations, partner organizations, etc.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

  • All proposals must be submitted by Friday, April 19th, 2024.
  • If you’re selected as a presenter, you’ll have the opportunity to share your expertise and connect with over 800 Jewish camp professionals, lay leaders, and advocates! In addition to facilitating your own session, you are welcome to participate in the full conference – an unparalleled opportunity for networking, professional development, and celebrating Jewish camp.
  • FJC has full discretion to choose the workshops and presenters for Leaders Assembly 2024. There is no guarantee that a proposal will be accepted.
