Camp Kadima at the DPJCC in Davie has a wide variety of action-packed, character building, and full-of-life options that will keep your child entertained in a safe environment. Campers swim, dance, play a variety of sports, participate in weekly special events and so much more. Camp Kadima is open to the community from 2 years old – 9th grade.

Day Camp @ the JCC is a place for exploration and opportunity; a place to try new things and to enjoy favorites with friends. We create an environment where campers feel safe to stretch, and continue to grow in the areas they love most. Day Camp @ the JCC focuses on age-appropriate developmental skills, with new specialty options added each year to meet campers growing needs. Our camps focus on three primary values: building community, gratitude and wonder, and personal growth and development. Day Camp @ the JCC serves children ages 3-6 years old.

Camp is all about kids having the freedom to learn and grow without pressures from school while developing skills that prepare them for future success. Summer J Camp has been a defining summer experience for thousands of campers over the past five decades; and this summer we’re back! This summer will feature many returning favorites: including Kef, Katan, Sports, and our revamped Counselor-in-Training program, and tons of specialty camps; as well as new offerings for your kids to explore.

Take an adventure this summer and create your own magical story at J Camp 2021. Explore new activities, make new friends, and learn new skills. The Staenberg Omaha JCC provides the perfect setting for campers to engage in sports, arts, swimming, song singing, nature activities, science experiments and so much more. Your child’s camp experience will be filled with wondrous excitement! Groups are led by caring, nurturing & dedicated staff that work together to create a safe yet adventurous environment. Our Red Cross swim program teaches swimming in a non-threatening way in the SYJCC’s indoor & outdoor pools. Sports, Music, Oneg Shabbat, Special Events, Arts & Crafts & other fun-filled activities are held both outdoors on SYJCC’s campus & in air conditioned classrooms.

J Day Camps feature the activities kids love most – like swimming, sports, and arts for ages 3-12.¬†

Chesterfield campers will participate in various activities including sports, arts, science, cooking, swimming, and more! Focus activity choices will be available as well!

Creve Coeur activities include: swimming (both swim lessons and free swim), crafts, sports, team building, cooking, and more! Campers in grades 3-6 will choose a specialty focus track each week. Focuses include sports, gymnastics, arts, or traditional Camp Baer activities!

Camp Ruach is a unique Jewish day camp experience open to first through eighth graders; Camp Tikvah, an inclusive day camp experience for children on the autism spectrum; and a leaders-in-training program for teens. Summer day camp at the J is open to children and teens of all backgrounds, cultures, and religions. Whether they are here for one week or the whole summer, Camp Ruach campers come away having grown and changed, carrying a newfound sense of confidence.

Here, everyone is celebrated! Feeling valued and supported, campers become strong, confident community members while gaining new abilities and having fulfilling experiences. Our energetic Camp Ruach staff work and play with our campers to ensure that they feel safe.
