THE JEWISH FEDERATION OF GREATER PHILADELPHIA NEEDS-BASED OVERNIGHT CAMP SCHOLARSHIP
Starting in summer 2023, need based scholarships (sometimes called financial aid) will be available through the camp where your child will attend. The Jewish Federation will provide funds to camps with campers from the Greater Philadelphia region and those camps will then distribute them to individual campers. |
Summer/Israel Scholarship Committee
Scholarships are available to residents of the area served by the Jewish Federation of Northeastern New York which includes Albany, Schenectady, Troy, Saratoga and Glens Falls. These scholarships are given based on financial need.
Jewish Summer Camp Experience
Applicants must be members of the Jewish Federation of Greater Orange County (NY) with a minimum gift of $36.
DJE Financial Need Based Scholarship Program
For financially needy young people living in Burlington, Camden, and Gloucester counties, NJ. Applications are downloadable from the DJE website. Applicants must complete application and submit two years of complete tax returns. All submissions are reviewed confidentially.
Resident Camp Scholarship – Jewish Federation of the Lehigh Valley
Studies have shown that Jewish camping is a powerful way to build strong Jewish identity and commitment in young people. Thanks to the generosity of the Annual Campaign, the Jewish Federation of the Lehigh Valley is offering needs-based scholarships for Jewish resident summer camps such as Ramah, Pinemere, Harlam, Galil, Young Judea and Moshava. Jewish Federation of the Berkshires Camp and Israel Scholarship Assistance
The Jewish Federation of the Berkshires believes that Jewish overnight camp and Israel travel experiences are integral components in building a child’s Jewish identity and connecting them to the broader Jewish world. Needs-Based Scholarships are available only to residents of Syracuse and Central New York residing in the 130, 131 and 132 zip code areas.
The Jewish Federation in the Heart of New Jersey
Need-based camp scholarships are available for youth who demonstrate financial need. Federation will award “last dollar” scholarships, taking into account both the family’s income and other scholarship awards received.
