Summary
The Jewish Federation of the Berkshires believes that Jewish overnight camp and Israel travel experiences are integral components in building a child’s Jewish identity and connecting them to the broader Jewish world. This is why we are dedicated to making a Jewish summer camp and Israel travel/study experiences affordable and accessible for every child.
Eligibility
Financial Assistance is available to Jewish children and teens, affiliated and unaffiliated, who are year round residents of Berkshires County, MA. Children who live in on the surrounding borders of Berkshire County but whose family maintains a full membership at a local congregation may also be considered. The camper’s family must be a current donor, at any level, to the Federation’s annual community fundraising campaign. All campers receiving assistance from the Federation are required to provide a minimum of five (5) hours of Jewish community volunteer service.
