Talking with Younger Campers About Israel with Sivan Zakai

05/23/24 - 05/23/24

What are some best practices for listening to and speaking with younger children about Israel and the events of the moment during this difficult time? Award-winning scholar and author, Sivan Zakai, will share some of her extensive knowledge about how children in America think and talk about Israel and will respond to participants’ questions. This session is especially for staff who work with campers up to age 11 and/or support the staff who work with campers up to age 11 – but all are welcome. This session will be recorded and made available online. FJC will provide a copy of Sivan Zakai’s book My Second-Favorite Country to all network camps who attend.
