Description
Eden Village West is hiring a Camper Care Specialist for Summer 2026! This is a residential position starting on June 8th and ending July 30st. The Camper Care Specialist will work closely with our counselors, other camper care specialists, and leadership to support the needs of all campers.
About Eden Village West
Eden Village West is an organic farm-to-table residential Jewish camp in Sonoma County, California with a 6-week overnight summer program. Our 3rd-11th grade campers enjoy farming, wilderness and homesteading skills, culinary arts, music and sports as they become empowered to promote a more environmentally sustainable, socially just, and spiritually connected world for all.
Responsibilities
The Camper Care specialist is responsible for:
● Maintaining regular contact with parents during camp
● Preparing camper profiles for bunk counselors before the start of each session
● Regular communication with bunk counselors during each session
● Listening. Listening to staff. Listening to parents. Listening to campers
● Creating, distributing, collecting, and reviewing camper check-in forms
● Daily check-ins with leadership team to ensure the successful operation of summer camp
● Eden Village West has a very small staff. This position requires flexibility and a willingness to occasionally take on responsibilities outside the Camper Care’s immediate job description
