Meet The Director

Rabbi Schneur Scheiman

Our Camp Director, Rabbi Schneur Scheiman, has been leading Camp Gan Israel since 2006, bringing nearly two decades of hands-on day camp experience to our community. Under his leadership, our dedicated staff team participates in ongoing, comprehensive training to ensure a safe, energetic, and nurturing environment for every camper.

With extensive experience working with children from preschool through the teenage years, Rabbi Scheiman combines warmth, structure, and genuine care. Throughout the summer, he is not only an administrator, but a familiar face, mentor, and trusted presence for both campers and families.
