Camp J Miami is a safe, fun, and caring environment that offers youth entering grades K-10 the opportunity to enjoy the day camp experience. From daily Flag Pole to specialist programming to hobby hour choice time and weekly field trips, your campers will enjoy a wide variety of activities led by trained and experienced staff and designed to give them a summer experience unlike any other.
At Camp J Miami, we introduce your child to new experiences while creating friendships in a fun and safe environment. We strive to build confidence, stretch imaginations, and teach new skills. Your camper will get to experience summer-time favorites, like sports, art, STEM, swim instruction, and lots more.

Meet the Director
Amanda Golzbein
Amanda is a JCC-lifer, having grown up here and attending ECD as a child. She has participated in BBYO meetings, enjoyed working out at the JCC Fitness Center, and has spent many years at camp. At camp, she has been a camper, counselor, specialist, supervisor, and Operations Manager.
Amanda graduated from the University of Florida with a Master's Degree in Elementary Education. She taught for 10 years and has 9 years of experience on the administrative team at JCC camps. She truly loves the camp world, where campers have the opportunity to be creative, grow socially and emotionally, and most of all, have fun!
Amanda has two daughters, Talia (2) and Zoey (8) who are growing up with a joy for camp as they love to sing songs together and actively participate in the JCC preschool, aftercare, and summer camp Shabbat celebrations. On the weekends, Amanda enjoys reading, dancing, being in nature, and spending time with her husband, Jason, and their extended families.
