Camp Shalom
Camp Shalom is one of the oldest Jewish/Zionist camping experiences for 7-13 year olds in Canada!
Camp Shalom celebrated its 70th anniversary in the summer of 2018. From its inception, this successful residential co-ed summer camp has remained true to its Zionist philosophy.
Camp Shalom, located along beautiful Lake Muskoka in Gravenhurst, Ontario, has been serving the Jewish community since its founding in 1948. A smaller camp than most with 235 campers per session, we have 65 buildings, which consist of 24 camper cabins, staff accommodations, a recreation hall, a chapel, a modern kitchen, bakery and dining room, as well as buildings to house the wide range of camp activities offered. Our waterfront activities include instructional swim, ski, canoe, sail and more. There are also two large sports fields, tennis and basketball courts.
*We welcome transgender, intersex, non-binary and gender-non conforming campers
