We are a progressive summer camp and year-round community creating vibrant Jewish life for children ages 7-18. We are intentionally inclusive, and build together a small and warm community where children feel heard, cared for and loved. The program develops independence, critical thinking, leadership skills, and a deep sense of responsibility to the community and the world, through fun and engaging experiential education activities.

Our unique participatory, youth-led model creates a lively, profound and empowering experience, where campers can be themselves, build community, and bring the change they want to see in the world.

Meet The Director

Dalit Shlapobersky

A parent of former campers and staff, and a lay leader, Dalit has been in the Executive Director for the past ten years. A true believer in youth empowerment and change making, Dalit is committed to creating meaningful programming, serving every person at Gilboa in the best possible way, and creating a warm, loving community.
