Webster, WI Pluralistic

Herzl Camp

Our Jewish traditions and ruach (spirit) help campers make lasting friendships and find their home away from home.

Join us on the shores of Devils Lake! Campers who call Herzl ‘home’ enjoy a variety of activities, amenities, and beautiful natural resources.

We make connections and nurture our Herzl family.

We are pluralistic in our Judaism; we embrace the people, the land and the story of Israel.

We provide tools, training and the opportunity to lead; transforming campers and staff into tomorrow’s passionate Jewish leaders.

We celebrate individuality and inclusion; encouraging everyone to be part of something bigger than themselves.

We embrace ongoing and inter-generational shared experiences ‘from the ridiculous to the sublime’ to foster lasting friendships, build identity, community and a sense of belonging throughout our lives.

Meet The Director

Drea Lear

Drea Lear, Camp Director, has a long history at Herzl Camp, beginning as a camper in 1994. Drea has been on staff full-time since 2008. Drea's goal is for every camper to find a home at Herzl Camp, just like she did! Drea believes that time spent in creative play, exploring nature and trying new things builds a camper's confidence and independence.
