Marks JCH Summer Day Camp

A Second Home for Your First Adventure

Marks JCH Summer Camp, an ACA-accredited camp, is a place where children are encouraged to explore, grow, and simply be kids. Serving campers ages 2–14, the camp offers a dynamic, age-appropriate experience that blends fun, friendship, and meaningful skill development within a warm and welcoming community.

Rooted in the mission of the Marks JCH of Bensonhurst, the camp reflects the organization’s commitment to being a vibrant center of community life in Brooklyn. Grounded in Jewish values and guided by an inclusive philosophy, Marks JCH Summer Camp creates an environment where children of all abilities, backgrounds, and aspirations feel a strong sense of belonging.

The camp’s four- and eight-week sessions feature a thoughtfully balanced program developed and led by professional educators, instructors, and youth development leaders. Informal Jewish education is woven naturally into daily camp life through shared values, traditions, teamwork, and acts of kindness, allowing children to connect meaningfully to identity, culture, and community. Campers participate in a wide range of engaging activities, including swimming, archery, sports, creative arts, theater, hands-on outdoor exploration, exciting trips, and live shows. Each experience is intentionally designed to build confidence, encourage independence, strengthen social skills, and foster lasting friendships.

Safety and wellness are top priorities. As an ACA-accredited camp, Marks JCH Summer Camp upholds the highest standards of health, safety, and program quality. Policies and procedures are guided by best practices and supported by a dedicated health and wellness committee comprised of staff and parents, with an emphasis on clear and transparent communication.

Marks JCH Summer Camp is an embodiment of the JCH mission: a place where positive relationships flourish, new experiences are embraced, and childhood is celebrated — outdoors, engaged, and joyfully off screens. The camp looks forward to welcoming families for a summer filled with growth, connection, and unforgettable memories.
