For more than 75 years, Camp Veritans Day Camp has been a place where summers are filled with laughter, friendship, and meaningful growth. Located in Haledon, New Jersey, our American Camp Association–accredited day camp provides children with a safe, joyful environment to explore, discover, and thrive.

Rooted in Jewish values, Camp Veritans is a welcoming and inclusive community where every child is celebrated for their unique spirit. We foster a culture of respect, belonging, and unity, helping campers build confidence, develop leadership skills, and form friendships that last a lifetime. Our commitment to celebrating diversity and promoting kindness ensures that every family feels at home.

Each summer from late June through mid-August, campers enjoy full days filled with swimming, athletics, creative arts, specialty programs, and outdoor adventures. We believe in the power of healthy risk-taking, teamwork, and hands-on experiences to nurture independence, resilience, and a growth mindset.

Safety, support, and professionalism are at the heart of our program. Camp Veritans maintains on-site security personnel and has received grant funding through the Department of Homeland Security to enhance our infrastructure and security measures. A registered nurse is on-site, and a licensed social worker is part of our camp community, supporting both campers and staff to ensure social-emotional well-being throughout the summer.

Our leadership team brings deep experience in education and child development. Most members of our administrative staff are professionals in the field — including general and special education teachers, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), and a school social worker. This educational expertise shapes our approach to programming, inclusion, and staff training, helping us create an environment where every child can succeed.

Camp Veritans proudly offers all-inclusive tuition, providing families with clarity and peace of mind. There are no hidden fees — daily transportation, nut-free snacks, a hot kosher lunch with dessert, all programming and special events, and trips for traveling units are included in the cost of camp. Once summer begins, your child can focus on fun, friendship, and growth — and you can feel confident knowing they are in caring, capable hands.

Camp Veritans is proudly owned and operated by the Veritans Club, a philanthropic organization founded in Paterson, New Jersey in 1927. TZOFIM North America has partnered with NJY Camps to proudly present Machane B’Yachad: 14 days of overnight summer camp with a rich and unique fun-filled program in Hebrew. The camp is open to all children who speak basic- fluent Hebrew.

The program includes more than 50 diverse elective activities. On top of that, Machane B’Yachad will have unique Tzofim led, activities for each cabin and for the entire camp – activities that will bond the campers, deepen their knowledge of Israeli culture, and most importantly, are FUN! The diverse program, combined with Hebrew counselors and Hebrew-speaking friends will broaden campers’ knowledge and use of Hebrew!

Machane B’Yachad will operate July 21 through August 3, 2025, and is designed for children entering 4th grade through 9th grade. The camp is open to every child with a basic knowledge of Hebrew living in North America.

Children entering grades 4 to 6 will be at Camp Nah-Jee-Wah and children entering grades 7 to 9 will be at the nearby Cedar Lake Camp. Both a part of NJY Camp’s 1,200 acre campground that hosts 1,500 children every day.

Camp Shalom celebrated its 70th anniversary in the summer of 2018. From its inception, this successful residential co-ed summer camp has remained true to its Zionist philosophy.

Camp Shalom, located along beautiful Lake Muskoka in Gravenhurst, Ontario, has been serving the Jewish community since its founding in 1948. A smaller camp than most with 235 campers per session, we have 65 buildings, which consist of 24 camper cabins, staff accommodations, a recreation hall, a chapel, a modern kitchen, bakery and dining room, as well as buildings to house the wide range of camp activities offered. Our waterfront activities include instructional swim, ski, canoe, sail and more.There are also two large sports fields, tennis and basketball courts.

Camp Bauercrest is a boys’ overnight camp on the scenic shores of Lake Attitash in Amesbury, Massachusetts. Since 1931, we’ve offered a dynamic summer experience where sports are at the heart of camp life, alongside waterfront adventures, creative activities, and meaningful Jewish traditions. While we often say Bauercrest is a place where boys can just “B,” what we truly mean is it’s a place where boys can just “B” their best selves. Our campers build lifelong friendships and character through spirited games, teamwork, and leadership both on and off the field. With a supportive staff, many of whom are former campers, we foster a sense of brotherhood and belonging. Youth leading youth is the foundation of Miriam. The youth leadership truly run the camp, mentoring campers who will follow in their footsteps. These youth leaders are the future of our Jewish community and your child could be one of them!

Moshava Ba’ir Toronto is the day camp of Bnei Akiva of Toronto, the youth movement of Mizrachi Canada. We are a not-for-profit organization.

Our summer camp on beautiful Otty Lake, in Perth, Ontario is the perfect home-away-from-home for campers in Gr.1-10. At Shomria, campers take ownership over their experience and build lifelong friendships and community that keep them coming back year after year.

Winter Camp, also lovingly known as Mosh Choref in Hebrew, is a great opportunity for campers Gr.1-10 to get a taste of Camp Shomria. Mosh Choref is the perfect blend of outdoor winter fun and cozy indoor time together. There’s something for everyone.
