Storytelling and Beads
Type: Programs
Topics: Cornerstone
Beading is a meaningful creative form that is used by many Indigenous Nations in Canada and the US. Love it or hate it, beading is also a cultural fixture at camp. In this session, you’ll learn how to take beads to the next level by learning about how the Iroquois people use beads to tell complex stories. Then you will make your own beaded artwork to tell your own stories. – By Daniel Abramson
