J-Camp features a child-centered program focusing on the individual needs of each camper and the collective interests of each camp group. Our goal is to encourage each camper to develop new skills and a greater appreciation of his or her capabilities. We provide a community setting where children develop confidence, build character, and meet new friends.

While every year we keep adding to our menu of programs and activities, one thing stays the same—our ruach (spirit)! The magic a child experiences and the friendships that are developed at camp last a lifetime. Camp exposes us to new activities, new people, and to things we may never have tried before. In addition, the self-confidence that builds in children greatly impacts their future endeavors. You will not find a more dedicated or passionate group of leaders—with many of our staff starting as campers. There’s nothing like the Camp Jaycee experience!

Located at Bernard Horwich JCC, Apachi Rogers Park is a hidden gem in the community, providing campers with a one-of-a-kind exploration of Judaism and self. You may not see it from our front doors, but venture out back and you’ll discover a gorgeous park-like setting, for sunny camp days packed with all the fun and friends of Apachi. With swim lessons, theme days, field trips, cookouts, and sports, campers thrive in our Torah-enriched community while exploring new interest, gaining skills, and creating lifelong friendships.

Every day at Camp JCC is packed full of activities, friendship, ruach (spirit) and adventure. While our campers rave that Camp JCC is “the best place ever” we know that spending a summer at Camp JCC provides opportunities to gain valuable skills. Camp JCC provides programs that bring out the best in every camper and grow their abilities that they will use for the rest of their lives.

The Bender JCC embraces and welcomes the diversity of our community and encourages everyone to seek meaning and fulfillment by participating in our rich programming inspired by our Jewish heritage. Fun summer options for ages 6-15! Join us at the Albany JCC for swimming, sports, art, nature, Ropes, dance, gaming, theme weeks, special events, and more! Our camps run for 7 weeks of Camp Shalom and Teen Camp, and then two weeks of Post Camps.

At the JCC there are endless opportunities for campers to explore their interests and make new friends. Our summer camp is a special place where children build character, develop meaningful relationships, and gain confidence. A summer of adventure and nonstop fun! Campers, ages 3-10th grade, enjoy the outdoors, learn new skills, make new friends and explore their interests in a warm, friendly, safe Jewish environment.
