While every year we keep adding to our menu of programs and activities, one thing stays the same—our ruach (spirit)! The magic a child experiences and the friendships that are developed at camp last a lifetime. Camp exposes us to new activities, new people, and to things we may never have tried before. In addition, the self-confidence that builds in children greatly impacts their future endeavors. You will not find a more dedicated or passionate group of leaders—with many of our staff starting as campers. There’s nothing like the Camp Jaycee experience!

Located at Bernard Horwich JCC, Apachi Rogers Park is a hidden gem in the community, providing campers with a one-of-a-kind exploration of Judaism and self. You may not see it from our front doors, but venture out back and you’ll discover a gorgeous park-like setting, for sunny camp days packed with all the fun and friends of Apachi. With swim lessons, theme days, field trips, cookouts, and sports, campers thrive in our Torah-enriched community while exploring new interest, gaining skills, and creating lifelong friendships.

Apachi Northside encourages campers to celebrate what makes them truly special. Through sports, art, swimming, science and theater, campers discover new ways to express themselves, create friendships and try new things. As campers get older, our program grows with them providing more opportunities for choice and leadership development. Each week is highlighted by special theme days and exciting guest entertainers, which enhance opportunities for community building and indescribable fun.

Every day at Camp JCC is packed full of activities, friendship, ruach (spirit) and adventure. While our campers rave that Camp JCC is “the best place ever” we know that spending a summer at Camp JCC provides opportunities to gain valuable skills. Camp JCC provides programs that bring out the best in every camper and grow their abilities that they will use for the rest of their lives.

The Bender JCC embraces and welcomes the diversity of our community and encourages everyone to seek meaning and fulfillment by participating in our rich programming inspired by our Jewish heritage. Camp Biluim is Canadian Young Judaea’s National Leadership Institute. Each summer, a new group of over 100 sixteen-year-old campers join us from all across Canada for a transformative summer focused on personal growth, leadership development, and an exploration of their Jewish identity and connection to Israel. It is our philosophy at Camp Biluim that everyone has the potential to become a great leader, and that each and every camper has something unique to bring to our “chevra” (society). Through a variety of both staff and camper-led programming, skill development activity periods, and “hadracha” (leadership) sessions, our goal is to ensure that every camper enjoys a transformative experience.

Fun summer options for ages 3-15! Join us at the Albany JCC for swimming, sports, art, nature, Ropes, theme weeks, special events, and more! Our camps run late June to early September.

At the JCC there are endless opportunities for campers to explore their interests and make new friends. Our summer camp is a special place where children build character, develop meaningful relationships, and gain confidence.
