Berkshire Hills Culinary Camp is a co-ed, Jewish sleepaway camp for children and teens ages 10-16.

At Berkshire Hills, we teach culinary skills while building a strong positive community. After a summer at camp, your child will come home more confident in the kitchen, more independent and connected to a completely new group of friends.

Berkshire Hills Culinary campers spend half the day building culinary competence with friends in our state-of-the-art kitchens. Trips to local farms, specialty foods makers, restaurants and the Culinary Institute of America will add to the fun and expand their knowledge.

Camp JCC offers a unique Jewish day-camp experience for children who are rising Kindergartners through rising 10th graders. Camp JCC is located on the beautiful David R. Kahn 30-acre campus in the heart of North Raleigh. Each one-week session is an adventure filled with swimming, sports, cooking, and crafts that ends with a Shabbat celebration. Our middle school campers enjoy daily trips to great local and regional destinations.
Just when you thought the summer was over, our Last Blast specialty camps give our campers one final week of fun. These camps will feature Play-Well TEKnologies, Creation Station with the Scrap Exchange and TreeRunner Adventure Climbing Camp.

With Day Camps@The J’s unique environment, our campers learn life skills while playing sports, creating art projects and testing the limits on our adventure course. Our camp experience is the perfect place for campers young and old to learn social skills and emotional intelligence, helping campers develop into adults who succeed in life.

We offer modern, innovative programs that engage campers and encourage them to learn new skills and discover their talents. Our curriculum is designed to help uncover their interests and passions by giving them opportunities for safe and positive risk-taking.

Day Camps@The J’s Hand in Hand program supports children of all abilities in a typical camp setting. With the help of trained counselors, campers build positive relationships, develop social skills, and communicate with peers in a supportive and inclusive environment. A special sense of community is fostered at Apachi Evanston and it carries over from summer to summer. Endless fun and activities, including sports, performing arts, fine arts, teambuilding and more mean there’s something for everyone each day. There is plenty of air-conditioned classroom space for activities and exploration, a large gymnasium, multi-purpose rooms, a stage and an outdoor playground, plus open green fields and plenty of shaded areas for outdoor play. Several specialty programs are offered as well, including Performing Arts Camp, Sports and Apachi Ivrit. Apachi Evanston really has all the ingredients for one fantastic summer.

In a culture of kindness, campers entering grades K-8 make friends, learn skills, and nurture their inner artists through drama, art, music, science, sports, swimming and boating. Experienced counselors, teachers and CITs serve as mentors and role models. The program consists of two 4-week sessions with flexible registration (minimum of one 2-week session.) Each session culminates in Arts Night, where campers share their accomplishments and perform for parents. Camp Kaleidoscope is a co-ed Jewish day camp open to the entire community.

Camp Twelve Trails gives children ages 5-16 the best of both specialty camp and classic day camp programs. It is comprised of five Neighborhoods: Play, Create, Explore, Discover, and Grow that allow campers to strengthen their skills in their favorite specialty while encouraging them to explore new areas. The essence of Camp Twelve Trails is our dedication to universally shared values central to Jewish life. Our proactive integration of these values into everything we do supports children of all backgrounds and helps them grow into better people.
