A Universal Design Lens: Making Camp Better (with Rachel Dubowe)

Foundation for Jewish Camp is excited to present the 2026 Disabilities Inclusion Training Series for seasonal staff. Seasonal staff who work with or are interested in supporting campers and staff with disabilities are invited to participate in this multi-part series, which includes a financial incentive and will run from April-May.

In this session, participants can expect to learn the basics of what universal design is and how it exists in our world today. Participants will also have a chance to examine their camp through a universal design lens and walk away with new ideas regarding accessibility of all types at their camp!
