Sensory Strategies to Support Campers (with Rachel Figurasmith)

Foundation for Jewish Camp is excited to present the 2026 Disabilities Inclusion Training Series for seasonal staff. Seasonal staff who work with or are interested in supporting campers and staff with disabilities are invited to participate in this multi-part series, which includes a financial incentive and will run from April-May.

Bright sunshine, messy clothes, paint everywhere, chants and songs, new adventures, smells that stay with us forever. Some of the greatest memories at camp can also be the biggest challenges for our campers. Join Rachel Figurasmith to talk through what might be going on with campers who are struggling with sensory experiences and to learn hands-on tools to help everyone join in the fun as their whole selves.
