Habonim Dror Camp Miriam

Habonim Dror Camp Miriam

We provide an inclusive and empowering community experience in which campers and staff have opportunity to express their values and, together, make plans to create change in our world.

Through fun and imaginative programming, topics such as Jewish identity, social justice, Israel and the environment are explored. From kayaking and sports to special days, from Shabbat at the Point and Israeli dancing to overnight hiking trips – there is adventure and a little magic for everyone each day.

Youth leading youth is the foundation of Miriam. The youth leadership truly run the camp, mentoring campers who will follow in their footsteps. These youth leaders are the future of our Jewish community and your child could be one of them!

Each summer, a new group of over 100 sixteen-year-old campers join us from all across Canada for a transformative summer focused on personal growth, leadership development, and an exploration of their Jewish identity and connection to Israel. It is our philosophy at Camp Biluim that everyone has the potential to become a great leader, and that each and every camper has something unique to bring to our “chevra” (society). Through a variety of both staff and camper-led programming, skill development activity periods, and “hadracha” (leadership) sessions, our goal is to ensure that every camper enjoys a transformative experience.

Camp Pembroke

Camp Pembroke

Established in 1935, Camp Pembroke is the ONLY inclusively-Jewish camp JUST FOR GIRLS in all of New England. This is a “world away,” a special girl-focused environment free of many social pressures that may exist outside of camp. While many girls lose their voice and even self-confidence during adolescence, Pembroke is especially adept at nurturing girls’ strength and identity. Here, girls feel safe to be themselves, try new things, and grow into the person they want to be. In the studio and the pool, on the stage and the field, in lakeside Shabbat services or late-night bunk talks, girls get to laugh, cheer, listen, hug, share, and flourish.
