Located in the scenic Catskill region, TheZone sleepaway camp features beautiful, resort-style campuses, world-class facilities and top-notch staff. Capital Camps is the Jewish Community Overnight Camp of the mid-Atlantic region, just over one hour from Washington and Baltimore, for campers entering grades 2 through 12. Providing a nurturing community with experiences that build their independence, strengthen their Jewish identity & create memories that will last a lifetime. and affiliated with the Jewish Community Center Association (JCCA), American Camp Association (ACA), Foundation for Jewish Camp (FJC), JCamp 180 (a program of the Harold Grinspoon Foundation), Jewish Community Federation of Richmond, Jewish Federation of Greater Washington (JFGW), The Associated: Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore, and United Jewish Federation of Tidewater. Scholarships are available.

Capital Camps is committed to the concept of ‘camp for all’. We welcome campers of all backgrounds, denominational affiliation, gender, race, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic status, including those with a range of intellectual, emotional, and physical abilities.

Spirited and NUT-AWARE, Camp Tel Noar offers a summer of fun, forever friends, laughter, and confidence, all infused with Jewish living and values. We invite your child to join Camp Tel Noar’s co-ed, close-knit community for an exhilarating summer: arts & crafts, athletics, visual & performing arts, water sports on Sunset Lake and in our pool, a full gamut of electives, inter-camp competition, special events, trips and more. Pluralistic and Kosher. Jewish choices and values inspire our community all week. One of the Cohen Camps. Our program is capped by Dor L’Dor, an Israel leadership program for Cohen Camps teens.  Two-week option, sibling discounts and first-time camper grants available. Tours all year.

Camp Chaverim

Camp Chaverim

Camp Chaverim offers programming for campers ages 3-14. Our day camp program offers opportunities for 3 year olds through entering 6th grade an opportunity to experience a camp experience on site at our JCC that sits on 25 acres. Each camper receives daily swim lessons and recreational swim. We have specialists that range from disciplines ranging from art, nature, science, archery, drama, and more! We dive into Israeli Culture and the highlight of the week is a camp wide Oneg Shabbat on Friday afternoons!

Our Tween camp program is form those entering 6th-8th grade and is travel based. A combination of day trip and overnight trips give teens the opportunity to experience local attractions and do some traveling themselves.

Camp Your Way:
Families have the flexibility to choose which weeks work best for them. Campers have the freedom to select their own electives.

Day Camps@The J’s Hand in Hand program supports children of all abilities in a typical camp setting. With the help of trained counselors, campers build positive relationships, develop social skills, and communicate with peers in a supportive and inclusive environment. Camp JCC helps make great people! Our program highlights four Jewish values throughout our 9-week summer. Kavod (respect/honor), Yosher (honesty/integrity), Kehilla (community/responsibility), and Chesed (kindness/caring) are weaved throughout our programming. Your camper will observe, learn, and practice these values during their daily activities such as swimming, arts, sports, and nature through an organic and exploratory approach.

In the City Camp

In the City Camps (ITC) is a Jewish day camp that delivers the proven outcomes of overnight camp: lifelong friendships, personal growth, and a meaningful connection to the Jewish community and Israel. ITC offers programs for children rising Pre-K to 9th grade. Campers have over 50 activity choices DAILY, experience unique programming, and attend an exciting field trip each week.

Camp Twelve Trails gives children ages 5-16 the best of both specialty camp and classic day camp programs. It is comprised of five Neighborhoods: Play, Create, Explore, Discover, and Grow that allow campers to strengthen their skills in their favorite specialty while encouraging them to explore new areas. The essence of Camp Twelve Trails is our dedication to universally shared values central to Jewish life. Our proactive integration of these values into everything we do supports children of all backgrounds and helps them grow into better people. Our warm, welcoming culture fosters a vibrant camp community where we all look out for each other and take care of the world around us.
