Jewish Learning Leadership Masterclass for Fundraising
Jewish Learning & Leadership Masterclass
The Jewish Learning & Leadership Masterclass is Foundation for Jewish Camp’s pilot cohort experience for Jewish camp professionals working in fundraising and development who want to strengthen their Jewish education to support their work at camp.
This Masterclass combines meaningful Jewish learning, personal reflection, and peer connection through an in-person gathering and three virtual sessions, helping participants connect their own Jewish stories to the broader Jewish narrative and communicate their camps’ purpose and role in the Jewish future.
Fundraising and development professionals are among Jewish camp’s most important storytellers—helping donors, alumni, parents, and other stakeholders understand what happens at camp and why it matters. The first cohort of FJC’s Jewish Learning & Leadership Masterclass brings these professionals together for a group experience that integrates meaningful Jewish learning with professional growth.
Beginning with an in-person gathering following FJC’s 2027 Leaders Assembly and continuing through three virtual learning sessions, participants will explore their own Jewish stories, connect them to the broader Jewish narrative, and consider how Jewish wisdom and learning can strengthen the stories they tell about their camps. Along the way, participants will deepen their understanding of themselves as Jewish leaders and build their capacity to communicate what their camps do and why it matters to their communities and to the Jewish future.
Participants are expected to attend and actively participate in all required gatherings and program evaluation, including:
- An in-person kick-off following Leaders Assembly
- Three Zoom sessions in February and March
