Great Outdoors Specialist

Description
OSRUI is seeking a specialist to develop a curriculum and lead our Great Outdoors intensive program for middle school-aged campers. Campers in this intensive will spend lots of time outside at camp enjoying and exploring all of our nature, sports, and aquatic activities. Each week will have a different focus and the experience will culminate in planning an outdoor adventure experience for the rest of their unit.

Requirements
• Evidence of leadership skill and capacity
• Strong background and experience in camping and outdoor education
• Desire and ability to work with children and adults in Camp setting
• Ability to creatively plan and schedule programs and activities with maximum efficiency, and to maximize the skills and talents of staff members
• Ability to give and take constructive criticism
• Must be a self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision
• Must have demonstrated successful leadership skills and the ability to motivate, manage, and counsel
• College graduate (or equivalent level of experience) preferred
