POSITIONOVERVIEW

The Salesforce Administrator plays an integral role in maintaining our CRM and other information systems that support our work and help us to track progress on current initiatives. This individual has a keen eye for detail, approaches challenges with a solution orientation, and thinks critically about how to store and report on information. This role requires excellent customer service and foundational experience in database administration, ideally with Salesforce, and a genuine interest in growing skills in this area. The Salesforce Administrator works closely with the Program and Fundraising teams. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Operations & Data.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

General Database Management

  • Salesforce Administration (regular maintenance of CRM) including account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows, development and management of experiences, and other routine tasks.
  • Uphold data quality and confidentiality through the design and implementation of a data cleaning plan.
  • Design, develop, and modify data infrastructure to accelerate the processes of data analysis and reporting.
  • Build and manage custom reports and dashboards, with an eye toward easy and relevant data accessibility for staff.
  • Preserve institutional knowledge through creating and maintaining user documentation of Salesforce functionality, related workflows, and business processes.
  • Prioritize and resolve staff support requests as they come in, including but not limited to data uploads, report/dashboard creation, form creation, automation, user experience design, bug fixes, forgotten passwords, and process improvement.
  • Support the design and training of FJC staff on Salesforce – both onboarding and continuing education – to enhance skills, increase user adoption, and support successful change management across the organization.
  • Oversee third-party integrations with Salesforce, including but not limited to FormAssembly, Alchemer, Asana, and Apsona.
  • Stay engaged with the nonprofit Salesforce community to develop and grow generative connections and learnings for the organization.
  • Liaise with Salesforce consultant as needed to put in help tickets and discuss Salesforce updates.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Fundraising and Development Support

  • Partner with the Fundraising team to coordinate solicitations, mailings, and other communications, including but not limited to creating Salesforce reports and campaigns, as well as managing, updating, and uploading lists.
  • Research, stay current on, and advocate for nonprofit best practices and support the integration of donor information in Salesforce.
  • Develop reports and analytics to support fundraising efforts.

COMPENSATION DETAILS

The salary range for this position is $66,000-$74,000 depending on level of experience. J Kids Coordinator & Assistant Camp Director

J Kids Coordinator & Assistant Camp Director

Enjoy having fun with children, teens, and adults? Join the J Kids and J Camp team! The J Kids Coordinator and Assistant Camp Director oversees afterschool programs, enrichment classes, and Parents Night Out programs, and works closely with the Camp Director to run Summer J Camp and School's Out Camps at the Stroum Jewish Community Center (SJCC). The J Kids Coordinator and Assistant Camp Director splits their time between administrative duties and hands-on work with program participants and staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Oversee the Kidstown afterschool program, including managing registration, creating quality programs, and maintaining an organized space.
-Develop, and sometimes run, engaging enrichment class offerings for early childhood school and elementary school children.
-Plan and coordinate monthly Parents Nights Out programs.
-Share School’s Out Camp duties to provide fun childcare during school breaks.
-Share Summer J Camp preparation duties during the school year, including creating schedules, planning field trips and other activities, and developing staff training materials.
-Manage the day-to-day of J Camp during the summer. Work in an ever-changing environment to ensure smooth operations.
-Develop J Kids budget and use as a basis for planning.
-Coordinate with the SJCC Registrar to manage billing for all J Kids & J Camp programs.
-Act as a good ambassador of the SJCC at programs around the Puget Sound.
-Engage with program participants, staff, families, donors, vendors, and other relevant parties.
-Provide ruach (spirit) and energy to the J Kids & J Camp environment and serve as a positive role model.
-Prioritize physical health, mental health and well-being, and safety. Meet all standards for compliance.
-Collaborate with SJCC’s cross-functional teams, including but not limited to marketing, facilities, development, finance, and human resources.
-Perform work on weekends and evenings as needed to meet applicable deadlines or scheduling needs.
-Other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position supervises a large number of staff members for Kidstown, Enrichment Classes, Parents Night Out, School’s Out Camp, and Summer Camp. With support from management, responsibilities include recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and guiding work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees through coaching; addressing complaints; and resolving problems.

Camp Care Coordinator

Camp Care Coordinator

Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Camp Director, the Camp Care Coordinator will look out for the mental, emotional, social,
and spiritual health (MESSH) of the J Camp community, including campers, staff, and families.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Serve as a general resource to campers and staff throughout the summer in facing mental, emotional and
social health challenges, and creating environments where campers and staff can thrive.
• Guide staff in their decision making to best support their campers and coworkers.
• Review camper and staff forms to prepare for the start of camp and schedule meetings with families to discuss
further as needed.
• Distribute pertinent information to relevant parties and ensure confidentiality is kept.
• Maintain MESSH records, including documenting observations and conversations, reviewing accident/illness
and incident reports, and completing reports requested by Foundation for Jewish Camp.
• Design and lead training for staff on camper care, staff care, and self-care, to be run during pre-camp training
and weekly staff meetings.
• Provide resources to families and staff when they would benefit from help outside of J Camp’s purview.
• Mediate discussions between staff members as needed.
• Attend 2-4 Community of Practice gatherings before camp with other camp MESSH professionals as part of
Yedid Nefesh program participation.
• Communicate regularly with the Camp Director and other members of the camp leadership team; share
recommendations with Camp Director on an ongoing basis and through end-of-camp report.
• Uphold the diversity, equity and inclusion values and practices of the SJCC by ensuring that all materials,
activities, and interactions are sensitive to, and reflective of, the diverse populations we serve.
• Attend required staff training and meetings. Share info at meetings as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
