Open to all! Summer fun, lasting memories, lifelong friendships, and more!

Fun summer options for ages 6-15! Join us at the Albany JCC for swimming, sports, art, nature, Ropes, dance, gaming, theme weeks, special events, and more! Our camps run for 7 weeks of Camp Shalom and Teen Camp, and then two weeks of Post Camps.

*We welcome transgender, intersex, non-binary and gender-non conforming campers

Meet The Director

Andrew M Katz

Shalom! My name is Drew Katz, Director of Youth Services for the Albany JCC. I have been a part of the Albany JCC since 1984 attending the summer camps and afterschool programs in my youth here. I was a JCC Teen Camp Counselor here from 1995-1997. I came back to work at the Albany JCC in March 2006 leading the AJCC Youth programs. My favorite movie series is Star Wars and my favorite super hero is Superman! I love watching the NY Yankees and Buffalo Bills sports teams play. And playing trivia, and Magic the Gathering – anytime, anywhere.
