Camp Achva @ the Pozez JCC of Northern Virginia

Camp Achva @ the Pozez JCC of Northern Virginia

Powered by the Pozez JCC of Northern Virginia, in collaboration with Gesher Jewish Day School, Camp Achva provides fun and formative summer experiences for school-age children in grades K-10. Since 1969, Camp Achva has been the premier Jewish day camp in Northern Virginia. Following a traditional day camp model, our vision is to create a safe space for campers and staff to learn and grow through building relationships with each other, engaging in meaningful programming, and embracing old and new camp traditions infused with Jewish culture.

Through daily scheduling, special events, and leadership opportunities, campers of all ages look forward to augmented, age-appropriate programming that builds upon itself each year.

Gindling Hilltop Camp (Wilshire Boulevard Temple Camps)

Gindling Hilltop Camp is designed to help Jewish youth have a fun-filled summer, foster friendships, and develop personal identity and self-esteem. At Camp, Judaism is not merely a programming device, it is our essence. Many of our counselors grew up at Camp, and we are all deeply committed to your child’s experience and inclusion in our community. With a wide range of activities and electives like arts and crafts, archery, ropes course, and so much more, Camp seeks to provide personalized experiences for each and every one of our campers. Through immersive nature adventures – swimming in the creek, exploring meadows, hiking in the forest, working the rich soil on our farm – Adamah Adventure Camp cultivates compassionate, and Jewish relationships with nature.

An amazing crew of talented farmers, wilderness experts, and fun-loving educators facilitate hands-on activities and immersive nature experiences. Campers explore the forest and the farm, swim, creek-walk, build fires, climb, share stories, sing songs, play games, and seek adventure while creating a community.

Camp Kayetz

Camp Kayetz

Camp Kayetz is a traditional day camp: we play games & sports, do arts & crafts, sing songs, do drama & dancing, and so much more! Each week there’s a field trip and one of those trips is a 2-night, 3-day camping trip in the redwood forest. We’re a small camp, with a maximum enrollment of 60 campers ages 6-12 (grades 1-7).
