In this session we will start our day on the right foot (get it?) with high-energy Israeli dances to get our blood pumping and take our breath away.
Ga’avah: What Does Pride Mean to You?
In this session we will explore different aspects of our identities that make us proud and ask ourselves what inspires us to “rise up” in moments of doubt or joy? This session is open to folks of all gender identities and sexual orientations.
Nature Wonder Painting
In this session we will start the morning with color, wonder, and quiet contemplation while learning a great on-the-go activity that can be used to create an opportunity for wonder and reflection at almost anytime of day.
Midnight Madness – Basketball for All
In this session we will gather under the bright lights of Capital Camps Arena for a fun, competitive, and inclusive night of basketball games and challenges.
Bringing Your Best, Wildest, and Most Memorable Camp Stories to Life!
In this session we will use the world of theater to express our most memorable, silly, and fun camp stories, in order to uncover what they’ve taught us about ourselves and the world, so we can bring them back to camp and inspire those around us.
Moon Magic
In this session we will explore how Jewish life, festivals, rituals, and conceptions of divinity are deeply connected to the earth, the stars, the sun, and the moon by spending time by the water, making ritual items out of nature, and experiencing the constellations above.
Ma Rabu: A Series of Wonder-ful Team-Based Challenges
In this session we will experience a variety of interactive team-based games that are competitive, collaborative, and will fill us with wonder.
G-d Bless the S’more
In this session, we will reframe the ‘s’more’ as a vehicle for starting conversations with one another to reflect on the day. Together, groups will bond over creating a blessing and this process of being grateful for everyday moments will become a ritual in the bunk.
