Having Difficult and Direct Conversation

One of the most crucial jobs you have as a camp counselor is to be the person that has to have the difficult conversation. Not only that, you have to want to have it! Whether that conversation is with a supervisor, a co-counselor or a camper you want to be prepared to talk about hard topics in a clear and direct way that eases tensions rather than elevating them.
