Taking a zillion selfies to get the perfect shot. Editing your paper before making your roommate edit it, and then editing it again. Writing and rewriting your bunk song with your co during rest hour as your campers play cards on the porch. There are so many small ways we strive for perfection in our lives. Camp is a place where we can sing at the top of our lungs and our cracking voices become part of a gorgeous community swell of song. Camp is a place where you can figure out what it means to pray and where you help others do the same. Prayer, in and out of camp, doesn’t have to be perfect. It has to be yours. In the Tefillah track, we will learn from everyone, and together, will enjoy the imperfect perfection of being in conversation with something greater. -By Sara Beth Berman
