Tisha B’Av – Ending Gossip, Bullying and Baseless Hatred in Camp and Beyond

Bullying, gossip and baseless hatred are not just plot-lines for teen movies, they’re
ever-present in our camps and greater communities. We will look at new program
ideas to bring these issues to our campers through the lens of Tisha B’Av – the saddest
day on the Jewish calendar. Baseless hatred is not only the reason why the temple was
destroyed 2000 years ago – It’s also the reason it still has not been rebuilt.
All are welcome; no previous knowledge of any or all things Tisha B’Av are required!
Together we’ll be honoring the past, mourning the present, and praying for the future. –
