Small Communities Incentive Grants
FJC is thrilled to provide a unique opportunity for first- and second-time campers from small Jewish communities. The Small Communities Incentive Program, powered by One Happy Camper®, offers new and second-year campers from small communities of approximately less than 10,000 Jewish residents a special camper incentive to attend the overnight camp of their choice.
Eligibility Criteria for Small Communities Incentive Grants:
First- or Second-Year Grants:
- $1,500 grant for campers enrolled for 19+ consecutive days.
- $1,000 grant for campers enrolled for 12–18 consecutive days.
- Must be entering grades 2–12 (after camp).
- Must live in a community of fewer than approximately 10,000 Jewish residents (community data based on information from our partners at Jewish Federations of North America).
- Cannot attend Jewish day school or yeshiva. The One Happy Camper® Program was envisioned as an outreach initiative for children who are not currently receiving an immersive, daily Jewish experience.
Additional needs based financial aid may be available directly from your camp or local community organization.
Applications for this incentive grant are available through the One Happy Camper® registration system.
