Jewish Family Camp
What Is JFAM?

This groundbreaking program, funded by the Maimonides Fund, provides overnight camps with financial and programmatic support to launch or expand their family camp offerings to provide meaningful and exciting Jewish experiences for families with young children.
This five-year pilot program is designed to help camps reach families beyond their current camp and alumni families to young Jewish families who may be less engaged in day-to-day Jewish life. Camps plan each family camp experience in partnership with area organizations that work with these populations.

Who Are the JFAM camps?
Seven Jewish overnight camps make up the inaugural cohort of JFAM, our ground-breaking Jewish Family Camp initiative. These camps see year-round Jewish engagement as core to their mission and help families feel a sense of belonging in the Jewish community and a connection to meaningful expressions of family rituals and traditions.
